I am not feeling well enough to write about all of the stuff that is making me feel not well, but I did go on-line to look for books to borrow from the library. I cannot do much, but I can certainly find the energy to sit and read.
I learned something about myself from the book search, though. Even though my daughter told my grandsons that I read a lot and do not really do much else...a whole other thing...lordy...I learned that even I cannot borrow and read a book in which one of the characters is named Sir Goldenloin.
Kind of grateful for that. Just saying.
J, I haven't read a book right through for ages. I keep getting distracted :-) Hope you feel better soon as it is not nice feeling 'off'.
ReplyDeleteReading is good, whether you unwell or not. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI think you must read it!! If only for research porpoises! ;-D I read the God of Small things this week! O>M>F>G! Loved it, laughed and cried and couldn't put it down, then I finished it and I was bereft! Hope you feel better soon matey! Don't do much else? WTF? Does she not know what you were doing before you moved up there?
ReplyDeleteSure she knew, Sue, but I was busy working someplace every week day and sometimes on Saturdays if clients needed extra help. Now that I live up here, I have decided to take it easier and volunteer only two half days each week.
ReplyDeleteI keep GOST in the car so that I have something great to read if I am stuck someplace. It really is an amazing book and I think so every single time I read it. I am glad that you liked it so much, too.
All right now...everyone pick up a book and cast the world aside for a while...yeah, you...go now and do nothing useful.
